“Battleford News say tonight saw Col Otter force met Poundmakers band Saturday last and defeated them with great loss Indian were driven from their camp, part of their camp burned. Otter loss eight killed thirteen wounded Indian loss not positively as certain but known in neighborhood one hundred.
