Using the Archives [1]

In addition to acquiring and preserving the rich documentary heritage of the province of Saskatchewan and its citizens, the Saskatchewan Archives endeavours to make available and encourage the use of our archival resources. Researchers interested in using the Archives may do so in a number of ways:
  • To access Saskatchewan Archives' Collection, begin your search in Threshold [2].  However, as not all of our Collection is described in Threshold as of yet, you are also advised to contact Reference Services [3].
  • Visit the Archives [4] in person
  • Research from a distance by submitting a reference enquiry via phone, mail, fax or email, or by using our online contact form [3]
  • Utilize the online resources included on this website, such as the Family History Research [5] guide or the guide to Accessing Restricted Records [6]
