A float at the Regina exhibition symbolized the attitude people had about agriculture and the role Saskatchewan would play in the world.

"During the first decade of the 20th Century there was a tremendous sense of optimism in Saskatchewan. As the population expanded rapidly and the number of homesteads grew, people felt there was no limit to what Saskatchewan could achieve. While some homesteaders struggled on their new farm, others had already achieved a level of prosperity. Crops were good and prices high. As the money flowed back to the province, cities and towns grew and people could enjoy the finer things in life."
