Construction on the Legislative Building. The Tyndall stone exterior is beginning to be laid.

"Shortly after Saskatchewan became a province, work was begun on selecting a site and holding a design competition for the new Legislative Building. By 1907 the plans were approved and construction started in August, 1908. Ceremonies to lay the cornerstone took place in October, 1909 and the first session was held in January, 1912. As the largest Legislative Building in Canada it reflected the optimism of the times."
