The Wheat Pool's float at the Regina exhibition symbolized the attitude people had about agriculture and the role that cooperative organizations could play.

"Originally started in 1923 as a marketing agency for farmers, the Wheat Pool became an elevator co-operative in 1929. Virtually all of the agricultural organizations that developed in Saskatchewan grew out of the farmer's frustration with speculators and lack of influence over the marketing process."
