A camp of surveyors for the Canadian Pacific Railway near the Saskatchewan River.


Surveying the route of the future railway was the first task to building a railway and attracting settlers to Saskatchewan. Sanford Flemings' first survey followed the traditional trade routes along the Saskatchewan River system.
