Where to Find Us
The Saskatchewan Archives Board has office locations in Regina and Saskatoon. Below we have provided contact information for both offices as well as directions and maps to help you find us.

Directions to the Regina Office:
The Regina office is located at 3303 Hillsdale Street, a short walk from the University of Regina campus. The building is just north of the corner of Hillsdale and 23rd Avenue. Twenty-third (23rd) Avenue intersects with Albert Street. From Albert Street you travel east to reach Hillsdale Street, then turn left.

Directions to the Saskatoon Office:
The Saskatoon office is located at the centre of the campus of the University of Saskatchewan. For those individuals who are not familiar with the campus, the following instructions and our map will bring you to our door. You may find it useful to print these instructions to bring with you when you visit our Saskatoon office.

When Traveling By Public Transit:
  • If you are using public transit, take the bus to the Place Riel Terminal.
  • When you arrive at Place Riel (the university student centre), enter the front doors of Place Riel; immediately, you will see the back doors ahead of you. Exit through the back doors.
  • Walk straight ahead, on the sidewalk between two stone buildings. The Murray Building is on your left. (Marquis Hall is on your right.) Walk between these two buildings until you reach the north-east entrance to the Murray Building. Two helpful landmarks will tell you that you have arrived to the correct (north-east) entrance:
    • At the top of the stairs, the entrance is finished with a polished red granite wall
    • There is a sign on the glass reading "Saskatchewan Archives Board."
  • Enter the building and follow the signs to Saskatchewan Archives and Room 94.

When Traveling By Car:

  • Take College Drive to Wiggins Ave.
  • Turn north onto Wiggins Ave., to enter the campus of the University of Saskatchewan.
  • Go to Parking Lot 1 by turning right at the second right turn after turning onto Wiggins Ave. Parking Lot 1 is across from Place Riel (the university student centre.)
  • Enter the front doors of Place Riel; immediately, you will see the back doors ahead of you. Exit through the back doors.
  • Walk straight ahead, on the sidewalk between two stone buildings. The Murray Building is on your left. (Marquis Hall is on your right.) Getting to the Archives:

Buses:
Contact Saskatoon Transit at Saskatoon Transit website or 306-975-7500 or contact Regina Transit at Regina Transit website or 306-777-7433, for the bus route closest to you.

Parking:
Saskatoon: Metered and lot parking available at the University of Saskatchewan. Pay parking lots are available across from Place Riel (Parking Lot 1 ­ rates are quite expensive), and at the Stadium Parkade (on College Drive between Cumberland Avenue and Preston Avenue - rates are less expensive.)

Regina: Limited lot parking and street parking available.

Accessibility:
Ground level access for individuals with physical disabilities is available at both offices.

For access to the Saskatoon office, individuals with physical limitations which prohibit them from ascending and descending a significant number of stairs are invited to use our "Service and Accessible" entrance. This entrance has a distinct sign, and is located across from the east-side main entrance to the University of Saskatchewan Library. Please enter through the exterior doors at this location, and ring the door bell for admission via the Archives' "Service and Accessible" entrance.

Hours of Service: (both locations)
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Limited reference service from 12 noon to 1 p.m., and after 4 p.m.).

Closed statutory and civic holidays.
