Saskatchewan Archives Board Closures on Wednesday, September 8, 2010

The Saskatoon office of the Saskatchewan Archives Board will be closed on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, and the Regina office of the Saskatchewan Archives Board will be closed from noon to 5 pm on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Regular reference services will resume on Thursday, September 9, 2010. Saskatoon customers needing immediate assistance on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 8, may contact our Regina office at 306-787-4068 between 9 am and noon; however, the Regina Office will also be closed that afternoon. Thank you for your patience.

Call for Papers: Special Roughrider Issue of Saskatchewan History Celebrating 100th Anniversary of Saskatchewan Roughriders (1910-2010) 5/10/2010
Saskatchewan Archives Board is planning to publish a special issue of its journal, Saskatchewan History, in the fall of 2010 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Saskatchewan Roughriders (1910-2010). You are invited to submit an article about any aspect of the history of the Roughriders, their fans, and their role in the community, for possible inclusion in this special issue. Submissions may be scholarly papers which will be peer-reviewed; shorter, light-reading features highlighting people, places and events related to the team; or book reviews of Rider-related literature.
