Your Visit to the Archives

The Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan is consolidating offices and services into a single location at 2440 Broad Street during 2019-2020.

Effective August 1, 2019, our public reference service hours will be expanded to 5 days per week (Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm) at our Hillsdale Street reading room.  Beginning later in August, records formerly located in Saskatoon will be available for consultation and research in our Hillsdale Street reading room.

Expanded reference service hours will continue at our Hillsdale location until further notice. Researchers will be notified regarding the availability of records and  services as the consolidation project progresses.

Please contact the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan prior to making any travel arrangements to conduct research, and visit our News and Events webpage frequently for updates about the consolidation project (https://www.saskarchives.com/news-and-events.)

If record donors or research clients have any questions, please contact Reference & Outreach Services at: (306) 787-4068.

The Provincial Archives is a public service institution dedicated to encouraging and assisting everyone who is interested in exploring our province's history. While our website provides access to hundreds of thousands of record descriptions, full access to the records is best achieved through a personal visit to our reading room.

The Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan reference services are located in Regina at 3303 Hillsdale Street.
