Public reference services are available Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm at 3303 Hillsdale Street in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Consolidation Project:
The Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan is consolidating offices and services into a single location in 2020.
Reference services will continue at the Hillsdale location until further notice.
Through the consolidation project, availability of some records may be occasionally limited. Please contact our Reference and Outreach Services at (306) 787-4068 prior to making any travel arrangements to conduct research so we can confirm availability.
In 2020, we will open our consolidated location at 2440 Broad Street in Regina. Until then, we look forward to serving you at our Hillsdale location.
In addition to acquiring and preserving the rich documentary heritage of the province of Saskatchewan and its citizens, the Provincial Archives endeavours to make available and encourage the use of our archival resources.
Researchers interested in using the Archives may do so in a number of ways:
- To access the Provincial Archives' Collection, begin your search in Threshold. However, as not all of our Collection is described in Threshold as of yet, you are also advised to contact Reference and Outreach Services.
- Visit the Archives in person
- Research from a distance by submitting a reference enquiry via phone, mail, fax or email, or by using our online contact form
- Utilize the online resources included on this website, such as the Family History Research guide or the guide to Accessing Restricted Records
